Hot Chocolate

bbbbrrrrrr... rain season come and feel freezing now. totally love smell the rain and it gonna be good have something hot drink while writting the blog. and now i enjoy signature hot chocolate when it's heavy raining outside. dont envy me cause it is more than good. kkkkkkk...

tomorrow i already post bout em seasonal frappucino for christmast in starbucks, and now i'm gonna explore more for food seasonal for this month, yes it is cranberry scone,  holiday beef egg begal, strawberry cheesecake, bluberry cheesecake, cranberry oatmeal cookies and cranberry temptation.

but between all that new menu, i finally choose holiday beef and egg begal, looks like beef kraftkorn but the different is holiday beef egg begal use scrambel egg plus lettuce and begal bread but beef kraftkorn filling is slice of beef and cheese with kraftkorn bread(healthy choise) because kraftkorn bread contain flaxseed so more healty than othes

perfect for lunch or snacks

oh iya, saat masuk starbucks apalagi saat pertama kali, kok isitilah nya beda yah seperti tall, grande, light?? nah starbucks memang pakai istilahnya sendiri, ini dia artinya

ukuran cup

short size hanya untuk expresso saja setara 237ml / 8 fl oz

tall size = setara small 355ml / 12 fl oz

grande size = setara medium 473ml / 16 fl oz

venti size = setara large 591ml / 20 fl oz

kandungan kopi

regular = sesuai standard starbucks

decaf = kandungan kafein nya lebih sedikit dari regular karena proses pengolahannya

half decaf = mencampur antara regular dan decaf

double shot = menambah kandungan expresso dalam minuman +IDR6000

kalau mau menambahkan chocolate chip(merek Hershey's) atau  syrup plus IDR6000

pemilihan susu

whole milk = regular milk

soy milk = susu kedelai +IDR7500

non fat = susu tanpa lemak

2% milk = susu low fat

half and half = untuk rasa yg lebih creamy

dan susu yang dipakai Starbucks adalah merek 'Greenfield' lho

light ice = mengurangi es batu

nah satu lagi menu juara dari starbucks, yessss it is scone! biasanya scones yang dijual di starbucks adalah chocolate scones dan oatmeal raisin scones(best) tapi karena lagi seasonal holiday muncul lah cranberry scone ini. tapi rasanya sama kok, cm raisin diganti dengan cranberry kering

ada yang sudah tahu apakah scone ini? scone adalah salah satu tipe dari pattisarie, berbeda dengan roti yang umumnya bertekstur lembut dan halus ataupun teksur cake yg manis dan basah. scone terbuat berbahan dasar tepung dan cold butter yang di mixer sehingga teksturnya seperti pasir kemudian dicampur dengan susu jadi hasilnya padat tapi hambur karena tidak memakai telur sebagai perekat dalam proses baking dan rasa butternya kenceng banget di mix dengan rasa cranberry, hasilnya pun jadi enak luar biasa. 

untuk scones sendiri belum pernah saya temukan di bakery lain selain starbucks bahkan di coffee bean pun belum pernah saya liat. jadi bagi yang sempat ke starbucks cobalah beli scones, dijamin pasti suka. dan jangan lupa minta dipanasain sama baristanya yah :)

lets talked about starbucks? wat is your first impression bout starbucks? for me, the first impression is all about brand. yeah, in these days starbucks not just selling coffee but also brand. yes because price is quite expensive and many hollywood drink that. but beyond that i love starbucks a lot lot not just only for brand but... first, the barista super nice and friendly. second, they launch new product every month so i always curious what will be the new product and last reason is starbucks totaly concern and care about environment, they use recycling food packaging so that be value added for me

on september starbucks open new stores in The Square, beside petra university (P Building)

so easy to get starbucks because near from my boarding house and i go there in sunday just being lazy and sit there enjoying my latte, and get conversation with the barista(i know 2 female barista who worked there). chrismast coming soon and starbucks release early chrismast/holiday beverage

ketiga tiganya sungguh menarik kan? ditambahn cup bewarna merah dengan gambar snowman rasanya nuansa natal banget. oke, setelah banyak membaca comment dari teman teman baik di facebook maupun twitter banyak comment yg memuji kelezatan cranberry white chocolate mocha dan toffee nut. by the way gambar produk diatas hanya ada saat menjelang christmas, jadi segeralah coba. menu ini tidak ada pada bulan lain lho. akhirnya setelah dilema, toffee nut frappucino jadi pilihan, meskipun kok aneh ya toffee nut? kopi kacang donk kalau bahasa indonesianya?? yah... nga ada salahnya coba variasi rasa baru, bayar mahal mahal coba yang unik donk :)

nah, meskipun orang orang pada gencar gencar pakai red cup chrismast dari starbucks tapi karena saya berniat minum di dalam kafenya starbucks jadi mintalah pada baristanya untuk beveragenya disajikan di dalam gelas aja, not cup! kan lebih ramah lingkungan pakai gelas(menghemat penggunaan plastic) bicara soal rasa yang sempat saya ragukan dengan 'kopi kacang' walaupun mungkin ragu kacang gimana dibuat jadi minuman? but taste not just good enough but extremely delicious, yammmmmmm, addicted!! 5 stars *****
